Transport policy

The transport policy of EPSO-G establishes uniform guidelines for the use of vehicles in group companies in accordance with the principles of transparency, efficiency and cost saving.

This policy defines:

• the grounds and principles for provision of work vehicles. The vehicle is provided to perform the necessary work functions, unless indicated otherwise in an employment agreement approved by the management board; 
• vehicle class and acquisition method. Work vehicles shall be of non-prestigious class, they are purchased through operating leases under the green procurement principles, ensuring fair competition between suppliers;
• control measures for using the vehicles. Assets intended for work cannot be confused with personal assets or used for personal gain;
• the responsibility of vehicle users. It is mandatory to follow road traffic rules, respect other traffic participants, ensure careful maintenance and inform law enforcement authorities about violations committed with the vehicle.
