Project information
The Energy Hub is a long-term project whose implementation will extend beyond 2035, but we are already starting the initial work to establish the hub. To unlock the full potential of renewable energy sources and achieve the objectives of the energy sector transformation, it is essential to build on regional cooperation principles. Coordinated planning and development of energy transmission infrastructure and offshore wind generation enables the optimisation of potential solutions and the enhancement of the social and economic benefits created. Regional cooperation creates opportunities for developing the Baltic Sea’s wind energy potential, expanding interconnections, and integrating the electricity and hydrogen sectors. To achieve concrete regional agreements, the Group is carrying out technical and economic studies and seeking the optimal solution for a regional Energy Hub.
